This slender book of seven chapters is meant to be pondered slowly, line by line, image by image. Drawing on the time-honored metaphor of locale as spiritual terrain, the book guides the reader through the house of life and that which is beyond appearances.
I wrote Six Doors with a team of creators. My partners were poet Genevieve Howard and artist Jenny McGee. It was a stimulating project with outcomes unknown to any of us at the beginning of our journey.
